BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION SPECIALIST
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu comes from a family with rich traditions in biodiversity conservation and conservation of rare and endangered plant species in Vietnam. His father is Dr. Nguyen Tien Hiep - Director of the Vietnam Plant Conservation Center, from a young age he was passionate about plants. With over 20 years of experience in botany, he has worked tirelessly in the conservation and sustainable management of threatened species. Currently, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu holds the position of Deputy Director in charge of botany at the Plant Conservation Center (CPC) Vietnam, he continuously plans to maintain and expand the Center's living collections. , and continue to research and connect local incubators across Vietnam and the world. 18 years ago he received his Master's degree in Biology from the University of St. Louis – Missouri, and continues to be a PhD student at City University of New York, USA.
We are a non-profit organization with the participation of leading national and international experts, established with the mission to protect the water resources on the Lang Biang plateau, protecting biodiversity and preserving the indigenous culture of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities.
